I am going to strive to be even more transparent with the entire process of establishing myself in affiliate marketing from this point on with this blog. I’m going to give a lot of details about what it’s actually like to do this. I’m going to give you the good and the bad. I may entertain you sometimes. I may inform you sometimes. But whatever the case, I hope reading this blog is helpful for you in some way.
Phase 3 of MAP, or Master Affiliate Profits, is happening right now and all Heaven is breaking loose. I won’t use the other expression, but you can guess what’s going on. They have a new system and are being inundated by thousands of leads. Here are my thoughts on Day 2, after the first day is in the books.
I did my own test on their system and it does a great job of offering people a free level where they can actually promote and get commissions. However, they do have a two-step process. After you enter your email address, you then have to check your email and get a link and a password to create your account.
This can be a tad frustrating as a marketer because so many people give up before they get their account created, but I have come to the conclusion that that is not really a bad thing.
If people are too lazy to go back and set up their account, they probably aren’t going to do anything within the system anyway. I would much rather have people who are going to actually try to work this program than have people who are too lazy to go back and set their account up with a simple password.
The first day had a lot of glitches they had to work through. In retrospect, I probably should have waited to pull the trigger on my solo ad but I was so excited that I had to get it started 15 minutes after opening. I am guessing I only got about half as many people to sign up on the free level as I would have otherwise.
Also, they won’t take Hotmail or Outlook accounts. People have to sign up with a different email address. This is because Hotmail and Outlook are not reliable and are associated too much with scammers.
So, it appears that it’s going to be a little harder and cost a little bit more per lead than it is to just give a lead magnet and sign them up to your own email autoresponder. But is this really any great loss?
I think it’s great because it separates the serious from the curious. The people who are willing to go through that extra step are the ones who will eventually upgrade and succeed with MAP.
What happens to your leads when you send them to MAP (Master Affiliate Profits)?
When you send a lead to Master Affiliate Profits, they market to those leads on your behalf for 90 days. The people who are creating the emails all have more than 20 years of success in Internet and affiliate marketing.
In other words, they are flat out better at it than you are and they are flat out better at it than I am. These are the people you want doing the marketing.
When they sign up to their free account, they are given access to the members area. They are given free training that is as good as a lot of the entry-level products people are charging $17 to $27 for. But they also are given plenty of opportunities to upgrade their accounts to receive the upgraded levels of training.
In addition, they are given their own affiliate link which they are free to share whenever they want. This is a significant benefit. When a lot of people try affiliate marketing, it is almost impossible to get approved to promote products.
The people who are creating the products have to safeguard against scammers buying from their own links and using other unsavory methods to steal money from them.
But even if you get approved, if you don’t have a track record, they won’t let you promote their launch. They let everybody else promote their launches and then they let you in after they have already sold a bunch of their products and they have already moved on to creating the next one.
This is not as important with Master Affiliate Profits because it is an evergreen product. That means it is going to sell a lot more after the launch than it will be during the launch.
Anyway, what this means to you is that you are automatically approved to sell a product that could get you immediate monthly commissions. They also have a yearly option if you pay in advance which costs what it would cost for 8 months. It’s basically “buy 8, get 4 free.” It’s also a nice chunk of change, especially if you are getting the 75% Platinum Level commissions.
When you send them leads, they do all the marketing. That means all you have to do is drive traffic and send them a few welcome emails from your autoresponder. It really doesn’t get easier than this.
The next steps on the journey…
My next step with Master Affiliate Profits is to continue sending solo ads and continue blogging. I am also working with Online Success Coaching, which is a John Thornhill coaching program that teaches you how to make your own products using artificial intelligence. I will be working that program simultaneously with this.
So right now, my only workload with Master Affiliate Profits is going to be to drive traffic, and I plan to do that with just solo ads right now. And of course, you are welcome to click any links in this blog.
I also have an email list of about 600 people that is pretty much as dead as a doornail at this point. I will continue to fire off one email to them a day. I may try using some AI to create story emails.
I am rather discouraged that out of 600 people, only four of them had enough ambition to actually click on to a link to go to the Free level of Master Affiliate Profits. However, if there’s one thing you learn in this business, it’s to make decisions quickly and move on quickly.
